Knockers
205-3
Downshall
85-10
Sevenoaks Chronicle, 24th June 1978
Knockers Skipper A. Martin cracked a fine century after Dowsnhall had inserted the Sevenoaks side and with Sims making the most of a couple of lives and hitting an aggressive 65 Knockers were able to declare at 205-3.
Leonard snapped up three wickets as Downshall made a poor start from which they never recovered. Wicket-keeper Miller took off his pads to take 3-14 and with Smith providing a fine run out the Essex side subsided to 85 all out and a 120-run defeat.
