Knockers
129-5
Sevenoaks News, 30th August 1972
Knockers had a few uneasy moments in their five-wicket win over Battle on Sunday. The visitors batted first, and despite defiance by Powell and Price were brought to 125 for 9 by effective catching and bowling.
After losing an early wicket, Knockers batsmen Ellison, Golds, Miller and Sims scored steadily to bring up a winning total, but five wickets fell before the victory was achieved.
