Sevenoaks Chronicle, 14th June 1968
Knockers rattled up a massive score of 244-7 before their declaration against Mayfield on Sunday-thanks to a free-scoring second wicket partnership between I. Miller (68) and Hornsby who was bowled on six short of his century.
They proved themselves in a completely different class on the day when they dismissed the Mayfield challenge for only 74 to claim a 170-run victory.
