Water Polo?
In conditions generally more suitable for water polo than cricket, Knockers achieved a 27-run victory over Cranbrook on Sunday.
Batting first, Knockers quickly showed that runs were going to be hard to come by. Only A. Martin, with some fine aggressive cross-bat shots, supported by K. Miller, managed to come to grips with the ghastly conditions. Knockers eventually were all out for 99.
Cole, taking 5 for 18, assisted by Bailey and Francis, soon began to get on top of the Cranbrook innings and the home team were toppled out for 72.
