The 12 over Clarke Trophy Final saw Sevenoaks based Knockers CC win with an over to spare against a competitive Offham CC challenge. Sam Spink's unbeaten 40 for the victorious side earned him a man of match award on this charitable event held at the Sevenoaks Vine cricket ground.

Electing to bat first Offham lost opener Tom Gittings (4) in the second over, bowled by Paul Martin (3-0-20-1). Dan Turner (3-0-19-1) got just reward for some excellent seam bowling when his last ball saw Ben Gittings (11) caught by Paul Martin at extra cover. Offham had reached 35 off of 5 overs by this stage and built their total around the excellent stroke play of Gary Evans (46no).

Adam Kent scored a quickfire 20 to supplement the steady scoring of Evans while two dropped chances by the Knockers frustrated Captain Ben Cobb (3-0-21-0) whose figures would have benefited. Matt Young (3-0-29-1) accounted for Kent, trapping him LBW with the total 63. Kraig Corke (4no) then saw Offham through to 98 along with the unbeaten Evans.

Knockers CC began their response with wicket-keeper Jayden Hoare (13) and Stuart Seldon (15). The pair reached 27 from 3 overs before Simon Hallbrook (2-0-21-1) broke the partnership bowling Hoare. Sam Spink (40no) batted aggressively including two successive sixes to keep the run-rate healthy despite the loss of the assured Seldon. The opener was caught at extra cover by Mark Stoodley off of Daniel Blakeburn's (3-0-19-1) bowling. He was quickly followed by Matt Young (3) when Ben Gittings (3-0-39-1) forced a shot to Stoodley's safe hands at 53 from 6 overs.

Offham's chances then dried up with the introduction of Tom Watts (16no). His partnership with Spink raced towards the total with Spink hitting the winning runs with a four through point. Ben Cobb received the Clarke Trophy on behalf of the victorious Knockers at the well attended presentation.
