I think seldon wants to number his own days behind the stumps, with his destructive arm in the field, batsmen will think twice about running those 3 runs..

Does the performance of Boreham behind the stumps on Sunday mean Seldon keeping days are numbered?

I see that Cobbs excellence with the bat for to seasons running has propelled him into the TOP 10 for all time averages, shame about his brothers lack of ability

cricket scout on Wed 2 Jul 2008 17:56:56

Ah yes.. But he does it when it counts...(saturdays) regardless of his big banger....

cricket sceptic... on Wed 2 Jul 2008 15:57:12

It may also be worth highlighting that B Cobb has failed to excel with ball in friendly cricket against average teams as he has yet to take a wicket this season.

Judging by the photos the only damage those otfordian children were going to do to us was give our ankles a good biting....

Good work Boreham, banishing the memories of that first ball drop all those years ago!

Stu on Tue 1 Jul 2008 09:11:05

boys, an inspiring win yesterday, i knew we has the beating of those young upstarts. They may have had all the gear...but have a few things to learn from a couple of wiley old knockers on how to eek out a victory from the jaws of defeat. It only took us 15 years to turn that around. Well done team!
